Lota washes itself every time it rains! |
Lota's special surface repels both dirt and water in such a way that dirt particles are attracted into the water droplets. The droplets roll down the wall, leaving the surface clean and dry! |

Lota stops water entering micro-cracks! |
All cement walls have micro-cracks on their surface. Lota repels water so effectively that water droplets 'bridge' these cracks and are unable to enter. Ordinary paint allows water to enter through the carcks, resulting in paint damage. |

Lota allows walls to breathe! |
Water trapped inside cement walls is the number one cause of paint damage in tropical regions. Ordinary paint seals this water inside the wall. Eventually, the water must escape, damaging the paint surface as it does so. Lota's advanced Silicone suface structure allows water to evaporate out of the wall at an extremely fast rate. Because the wall can now 'breathe', damaging water cannot collect inside the wall. |

Lota is immune to alkaline attack! |
Cement walls are extremely alkaline. When water trapped inside walls eventually forces its way out through ordinary paint, it carries this corrosive alkaline onto the paint, causing it to become chalky, patchy and discoloured. Lota's advanced Silicone technology makes it chemically inert, so it is unaffected by alkaline attack. |

Lota's colours stay vivid longer! |
Lota's colours stay vivid and bright long after ordinary paints have faded. The pigment in ordinary paint is just part of a mixture and therefore vulnerable to weathering and damage. In Lota, each particle pigment is individually surrounded by a Silicone coating. This transparent coating protects the pigment from damage by solar radiation, acid and alkaline attack and atmospheric pollutants. |

Lota is ideal for heritage buildings! |
The lime plaster used on heritage buildings has one ability modern cement render does not. It can 'breathe', allowing damaging water to escape. Ordinary paint will damage lime plaster as it seals the pores. Lota has the ability to 'breathe' in the same way as the lime plaster. |
