Frequently Asked Questions |
| Q: |
Do I need special equipment to apply Lota? |
| A: |
No. Apply Lota as you would any ordinary paint.
Lota is water based and specially designed to go on easily.
Use a roller, brush or spray and rinse out in water. |
| Q: |
Does Lota feel slippery to the touch? |
| A: |
No. Lota looks and feels the same as ordinary paint. |
| Q: |
Can I add water to Lota? |
| A: |
Not recommended. Adding water to any paint will result
in a loss of performance, especially in covering power.
For best results, always follow the instructions on the pack. |
| Q: |
Will Lota give the same coverage area as other paints? |
| A: |
Yes, depending on the surface to be painted. A rough
surface will of course mean a slightly lower coverage.
Normally, Lota will give a coverage of 8m2 - 11m2 and
Lota Primer will give a coverage of 9m2 - 12m2 |
| Q: |
Should I use a primer with Lota? |
| A: |
Yes. A generous coat of Lota Primer should be applied first
(two coats recommended if the surface is very chalky)
followed by two finish coats of Lota Silicone Paint. |
